The lumber sold here at Old Fashion Lumber is all recycled and reclaimed material. This wood has been salvaged from pre-existing structures such as old barns, old buildings, and old fences. By choosing to build with these materials we are reusing material that has already been harvested buy our previous generations. In doing so we are helping to reduce the pressure to harvest new forests and lending a hand to stop forest deconstruction. Using green building products like recycled wood also reduces the carbon foot print construction leaves on our environment.
